God Is Doing a New Thing
As we step deeper into the season of spring, we see signs of new life all around us — blooming flowers, longer days, fresh beginnings. It’s a beautiful reminder that God is always at work, even in seasons when we may not immediately recognize it.
In Isaiah 43:19, God promises:
“See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?”
Sometimes, it can be hard to see the “new thing” God is doing, especially when we are weighed down by worry, uncertainty, or the routine of daily life. But the truth remains: God is always moving. He is always working behind the scenes, preparing us for the next chapter He has written for us.
Maybe for you, this season feels a little barren — like the earth before spring’s first bloom. If so, take heart. Just because you can’t see the full picture doesn’t mean God isn’t planting seeds of hope, growth, and transformation deep within your life.
Today, we invite you to pause, look around, and ask God to help you perceive His new work in your heart, your family, your community, and your church. Let’s be people who trust His timing and celebrate the new beginnings He brings!
Prayer:
Lord, open our eyes to the new things You are doing. Help us to trust You even when we cannot see the whole story. Plant in us a spirit of hope and renewal. Thank You for always working for our good. Amen.
