First UMC Jackson is the premier location for a Christian wedding in Jackson. The sanctuary, which seats up to 700, is available for large or small ceremonies. This is also the home of the finest organ for miles around, the sounds of which are unrivaled in this part of Michigan. The church has skilled organists who will work with you to provide the music that will enhance your special day. For more intimate weddings, there is a Chapel which seats 50 - 75. Whatever your vision, the wedding coordinator can help you make that dream come true. The church also has excellent facilities available for non-alcoholic receptions with seating up to 200.   To see the sanctuary and hear the organ, please feel free to come for a Sunday morning service at 9:00 or 11:00. Wedding Coordinator

A Wedding Coordinator will be assigned to each wedding couple. She will meet with you after you have reserved the church and are listed on the calendar. She will go over all the details to make sure your wedding goes as smooth as possible. As your wedding draws closer, you will meet with her again to finalize all last minute details. She will be at the rehearsal and the wedding to oversee details so everything goes according to plan. Any questions that arise in your planning should be directed to her.

Receptions At The Church - Menu

For those who choose to hold their reception at the church, you may wish to have a meal served. Our Fellowship Hall will accomodate up to 200 people for a sit-down meal.
