Knitters:
Our Knitters group is a friendship and fellowship group that meets to work on individual knitting, crocheting or craft projects.  You do not need to know how to knit or crochet to belong to the group, as they have all skill levels and help each other.  This group is currently on hiatus but looks forward to meeting soon.
Never Without A Friend (women):
This fellowship group of women meets each month on the third Thursday at 6:00 pm preferably for a relaxing evening at a different area restaurant, but also by zoom when that is not possible.  Restaurant reservations are not always required but do assist in providing adequate seating for the group.  Each person chooses from the menu and is responsible for her own expenses.  Watch the bulletin and Parish Tidings for each month's location or gathering sytle or ask to be put on the email list.  If meeting virtually, contact Candy Poleski for the invitation.
Round Table:
The Round Table group is a long-standing fellowship and activity group at FUMC.  When possible, they host dinner meetings followed by a program on  the third Friday of the month from September through May in Fellowship Hall at 6:00 pm.  These dinners, for which there is a fee, are currently on hiatus.  The group also takes responsibility for the Hanging and Removal of the Greens in the Sanctuary, the delivery of the altar flowers each Sunday to members of the congregation, and the pancake breakfast to raise money for church projects.  The meetings are open to all, but reservations are requested.
United Methodist Women (UMW):
The United Methodist Women (UMW) connects the women of the United Methodist Church with each congregation and all around the world.  For over 150 years, the United Methodist Women have come together in study and service seeking to deepen their faith and strengthen the mission outreach of the United Methodist Church.  Each congregation of the United Methodist Church has a unit of UMW.

Our local unit meets together on the first Thursday of each month from September to December and from February to June for lunch followed by an informative and entertaining program designed to help us know God better, learn more about the challenges faced in our world, and to show us how we can meet the needs of others, both locally and globally.  When meeting in person is not possible to, this group may meet virtually by Zoom.

All women are invited to explore what UMW has to offer.  You do not even have to be part of the United Methodist Church in order to join UMW.  You are invited to connect with the United Methodist Women by contacting the church office.  We look forward to including you in the ministries of The United Methodist Women.
Women's Guild Fellowship:
The Guild is a women's group that meets at the church third Monday of the month from September through May at 12:00 pm for lunch and a speaker. There is a cost for the meal.  The June program is a picnic.  Their special projects include providing Christmas cookies for senior citizens and May baskets.  This group is currently on hiatus.
Women's Support Group:
Formerly the Widows' Support Group, they provide uplifting conversation and sharing.  They meet the 1st Tuesday of the month at 3:30 pm in the Parlor.  Guests are always welcome.  This group is not currently meeting.
Mary Martha Quilters:
The Quilters welcome anyone with quilting experience to join them as this is not necessarily for beginners.  The group finishes quilt tops for other people, and they donate the proceeds of sales to various charities.  They prefer meeting in the quilting room on the 2nd floor (behind the Library and Creation rooms) on Wednesdays at 9:30 - 12:00 pm year-round but are currently working from home.
